About CTE

Center For Technology, Essex provides quality educational programs for students (16 years of age or older) and adults in Vermont's Chittenden County and surrounding counties. The Center for Technology, Essex has an open admissions policy and each year hundreds of high school and adult students enroll in day and evening programs.

Adults who have already graduated from high school are admitted on a space available basis with a reduced tuition charge. Adults who have not graduated from high school or have a G.E.D. are considered as secondary students and may enroll in a CTE daytime program free of charge.

Located in Essex Junction, Vermont, CTE serves towns that send students to BFA-Fairfax, Burlington High School, Mt. Mansfield Union, Colchester High School, Champlain Valley Union, Milton High School, Essex Junction High School, Rice Memorial High School, South Burlington High School, and Winooski High School.
